APPLICATION OF PASSES (EMPLOYMENT PASS/ S PASS/ WORK PERMIT/ ENTREPASS/ DEPENDENT PASS)

Singapore Work Pass application and renewal for your foreign staff can be a time-consuming process and challenging if you are not familiar with the various rules and application process set by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Any error will be rejected outright by the MOM.

The various types of Singapore work pass categories that are available for foreigners to apply include the following:

 

Employment Pass (EP)
  • Professionals, managerial personnel, executives or specialists.
  • Earn at least S$3,600 monthly salary.
  • Must meet acceptable qualifications (good university degree, professional qualifications or specialised skills).
  • Not subject to quota limit and Foreign Worker Levy.
  • Eligible to apply for Singapore Permanent Resident.
  • EP holder who meet eligible criteria can sponsor their spouse, unmarried children and parents to join you in Singapore.
S Pass (SP)
  • Mid-level skilled foreign staff.
  • Earn at least S$2,400 monthly salary.
  • Must meet acceptable qualifications (i.e. degree, diploma, or technical certification of at least 1 year of full-time study courses for qualified technicians or specialists).
  • Have relevant work experience.
  • Subject to quota limit and Foreign Worker Levy.
  • Eligible to applying for Singapore Permanent Resident.
  • SP holder who meet eligible criteria can sponsor their spouse, unmarried children and parents to join you in Singapore.
Work Permit (WP)
  • Semi-skilled foreign workers in the construction, manufacturing, marine shipyard, process or services sector
  • Subject to quota limit and Foreign Worker Levy.
  • Employer is required to buy medical insurance for the worker.
  • Employer is required to purchase Security Bond in the form of Banker’s or Insurer’s Guarantee with a guarantee value of S$5,000 for all non-Malaysian worker.

NOMINEE SERVICES

A Singapore company must have at least one director who is “ordinarily resident” in Singapore. If you do not have a local resident director to meet the requirement of the Companies Act, you can appoint us as your nominee director.
